Hi, I recently came across a photo in a Fb group, could anyone kindly guide me on where I might be able to mod this palm rest/storage unit? Does ur car comes with it?

 

I have a 2016 Lexus RX350 luxury and mine has the same storage compartment.

I didn't even know it was there until I saw your post and tried to open mine and it opens! I did notice it was quite firm when flipping it open for the first time. I guess the small rubber stoppers on the lid had fused onto the compartment a bit.

Waiting for others to chime in... I have a '22 Premium and the "palm rest" doesn't open. (The center console does.)
Did FB mention what model & year that was?

 

Mine opens. I think it was meant to store a cell phone.

 

16- 20? I think.. (only based in 20+ saying they don't open, never tried myself)

Mine opens, but it's old... I Keep an ipod classic 160 gig in there connected for voice control of music

 

I have a 2022 RX450H, the palm rest does not open.

 

16-20 is able to do this.

If you have the large square track/mousepad then it is a fixed armrest.

 

2016 - 2019. The 2020 MY got the touchscreen and the phone holder on the front-right side of the console. The palm pad on the 2020 is fixed.

 

My 2020 is fixed the same. Tho is there any way to modify to be at least a mini storage from parts/bits from the 16-19?
