11679734[/url]]Just an update. Finally got around to replacing the left axle and that solved the issue. now i just need to figure out where this vibration/hum is coming from right around 2000rpm. been doing it since new, i knew i should have taken it in then.
Humming could be the wheel bearing or the infamous drone.
def. not suspension or drive related. it does it while stopped at revving about 2k rpm. I've been reading around and it seem like people add i vibration damper to the exhaust. i think I'll give that a shot as that's the type of noise/vibration I'm feeling.

That would be the infamous drone that every owner is facing. It is consider normal according to the dealers.
Thank you.
i worked for toyota for 10 years and the only reason this would be "normal" is because they couldn't find a solution to it.
i've found this post so gonna give it a shot. its very annoying because the car is so well built, quiet and smooth that it makes the sound even more obvious.
