Default 2019 RX & Remote Start.....

I have a new to me 2019 RX350. Can this do remote start from an app? Is it still the Enform App or did they go to something else?

Thanks!

The Lexus App is includes remote start for 3 years, and then it is a paid service. So you can do it but you have to pay a monthly fee. You can do it from your key remote without the app.

there are several threads on this and it does vary by year of vehicle. The app was nice, but for me not worth the monthly fee based upon my need for remote start. Good luck.

I found this post in another thread....can not promise that it is true

"The 2018 (except GX) and 2019 (all models) are the sweet spot in the Lexus Enform saga.
These have 120 months - 10 years of the Safety Connect and enabled fob remote start.
The phone app had a 12 month - 1 year trial and is $80/year for the find/follow/monitor/Remote Start.

2020 and newer Lexi have the 36 month - 3 year trial for everything, phone app, fob RS, Dynamic Voice
and Dynamic Navigation on those with Nav. When subscribing after the trial it is $80/year for the Safety

Connect and an additional $80/year for the phone And fob RS"

I have a 2020 so this does vary by year. Give the app a try to see what services you still may have.
Looks like you have to pay for the app remote start, but do have fob remote start.

Thanks, I did a quick search, and like you said, the results covered enough years and other variables, I decided to post new. If I recall, I wasn't able to add the car to the Lexus app. I figured it was because either I already had the app tied to my wife's NX or maybe the previous owners still had it on theirs. I wasn't really worried about it but now that it's gotten colder here it's got my attention. Since the 2019 is subscription for this I don't think I care enough to pay for it. But if anyone has any ideas to try and get the car added, please let me know. As I recall, all I did was select to add, enter the VIN and when I got a message that it couldn't add I gave up.

I got a 19 f sport and i use the app everyday. I also use the key fob to start the car when i dont have service. You do now have to pay for the subscription, just call them and have them figure it out. There is a support number, they will add your car to the app.

Try this...

1. Click the FOB Lock Button twice
2. Click the FOB Lock Button a third time and hold it about 10 secs. Should start right up.

Thanks. I should have mentioned that I knew how to do this. But if you can use the app, you're not limited to the feeble distance of the remote.

Will 3G phaseout impact ‘19? I know it rendered the app useless for my ‘17

I think this is a dealer programmed option. Ours does not work.
