Default Turning off Traction control light

Any advice on how to reset traction control light so it will not stay lit anymore?
Hit a curb and front passenger tire was completely smashed.
Drove very slowly to near tire shop which was only few hundred feet away.
Replaced both front tires and now the traction control light is on (meaning traction control turned off?)
Shop told me it will go away after driving for awhile, but it didn't.
Not sure if anything is damaged.
Any input appreciated.

You could have damaged wheel speed sensor -or something else- one way to check is to read the codes. Many autoparts stores will do it free of charge.

Hello everyone. question was traveling in Montana got Check Traction Control. Got lights off made it home. Bought code reader,Got code PO171. Lean 1 bank. Got that fixed. Broken vacuum line. Question is i can turn traction control off and on. but have read on here that your control can be disabled by computer . So how can you tell if it was disabled? when i start the vehicle the light shows that it is off. Is that normal? Thanks everyone!!!

Did you get CEL and trac light (both) come on? When they are on together, I treat them as a time to get the codes read. If traction is on by itself, then I understand it as traction has been de-activated.
