Default Tow Hook Plate Holder

New member here!

Just bought a '14 RX450h and love it. Have been a Toyota/Lexus family for a very long time. I'm a person who doesn't mind owning older Toyota/Lexus models and this is actually our first vehicle with front parking sensors

We traded our 2012 CT200h (named "Go Kart" by my boys, and super fun to drive) for the 450h and it was a much needed upgrade to our family. We loved the go kart and it's 42 MPG ability but it was time to upgrade. We don't like car notes and the 450h was within cash range with the trade in value. What a great refined ride!

Anyways.....I live in Texas which requires front plates. I got around this with the CT200h that didn't have the dimples already drilled through with a tow hook bracket plate. Well....since this is our first vehicle with front parking sensors, I was wondering if anyone here is running this set up without the sensors going off. If I was to mount one, it looks like it would be 3 inches below from the sensor.

I ran into some threads about the tow hook bracket, but couldn't find one with front sensor comments. Yes, I know I should just get the front bracket and drill through those dimples, but I'm the weird one thinking that it's made it this long without having a "blemish" on the bumper. People also might find it hideous to have the tow hook bracket, but just here for the parking sensor help.

Thank you guys for your time!

I doubt it will work as it will trigger the sensor. If you want front parking sensors you probably need to use the factory plate location. Maybe talk to a couple of body shops for other opinions.
