Default 2015 RX350 Will not start

All Panel lights are lit and GPS Nav. blinking on and off sporadically. After several tries to start the engine did start. Is this a battery problem?

Hi and welcome to CL.

Sorry your RX won't start. Is it making a clicking noise when trying to start it? Do you know how old your battery is? You should go and get a battery test, or test it yourself with a multimeter.

Report back with your findings when it's fixed.

Just buy a new battery and hope it starts after it is replaced. That is the most likely cause. Batteries are a known wear item and those are common symptoms.
Always try the obvious and cheapest repair first!

^^ What he said. My wife's 2015 RX350 (built in April 2015 and leased to the first owner in August 2015) had to have its battery replaced under warranty in February 2018. These OEM batteries seem to be marginal at best.

It's a good idea to invest in a multi meter to take readings of the battery when the vehicle is off as well as when it is running so you can get voltage numbers to determine if it's just a low battery or an alternator that's on its way out.

If the battery is below 12 volts when the vehicle is off, clearly it is low and can cause starting issues. But that doesn't necessarily mean the battery is bad. It might not be getting the proper charge when the vehicle is on. When the vehicle is running the readings should be in the 13 to 14 volts indicating the alternator is driving a charge into the battery. Anything below 12 when the vehicle is running indicates a weak alternator.

When it starts go to auto zone and have the battery load tested. It’s free.

I made the mistake of just throwing a battery at my issue and it was a 160$$ mistake. Lol
