Picked up a 13 RX 350 last month. I’ve been going through the manual and searching online and I cannot find out what this is or what it does. It’s located behind the rear view mirror and the cable is tucked under the headliner running toward the driver’s side. It appears to have two amber lights on the sides and a push button.

My guess is an aftermarket radar detector.

If you weren't given a fob, you *might* be able to pick one up on eBay and use it with your system, but no guarantees.

 

Yep.....that's it. A port installed remote start. I have the fobs.
