Hello, my car key was stolen out of my wife's car in our apartment complex. I am afraid the thief may try to come back and perhaps steal my car. Is there a way to deactivate the stolen key? Or reprogram the whole code? I'm not really concerned with them unlocking the doors with the physical key, just don't want them to be able to drive off with the car. Thanks.

 

Best & quickest way is to visit your dealer, they can program your car to deregister all keyfobs except the one being used to access your car programming. If you have Techstream, you can use it to do the same ... good luck ...
