Hi, has anyone uninstalled the underbody splash shields for 2015 RX350? I am trying to install a running board and I need to remove the plastic splash shields first. Then there is a screw / pin / clip that is very tricky to remove. It doesn't look like those push clip.... anyone saw that before? i would think it is lexus OEM original parts.

 

Just try to unscrew it with a flat blade screwdriver. Maybe you need to shove something pointy into the hole to release it first or at the same time.

 

make sure to remove any other clips/screws before removing this plastic retaining screw. simply use a phillips or flat blade screw driver. do not press with screw driver. lightly turn and it will come off.
