Default A Pillar removal?

Does anyone know how to remove the A pillar cover from our cars? I want to take it off, but don't want to break anything. I want to remove it so I could fix the damn annoying rattling. I've tried searching, but didn't find anything on how to take it off. Thanks in advance

it's held by two plastic clips. just grab and pull toward you and it will come off. it's very easy but don't gorilla it.

I assume it would be best to pull from the top where it meets the headliner and pull toward me and kinda down?

Pull to the side, not towards you unless you want to rip the clips off

Here ya go. Look at where the arrows are pointing. Do not pull down. Pull away from the pillars. Obviously pull the top part of the a-pillars first. After the two clips are pulled out from the pillar, you should be able to pull the panels out but pulling it towards you. Easier done than said

NOTE: Make sure you pull down that black strip of seal that's right next to the pillar. You can pull it out with your fingers. Makes things easier. Becareful not to get thermo-grease on you. It's somewhat hard to wash off.

The little button toward the top pops off and has a 10mm behind it. Then you push down a little and pull out to get the bottom. It has a post on it that slides in a groove.

that's exactly my question. 98-00 has no air bag so the a pillar just pops off. but with 01+ curtain airbag, i am not sure if the apillar just pops off like that? that would be dangers when the airbag deploys

I think you can as long as the wiring did not interfer w/ air bag. I believe when the side curtain blows the pillar goes toward the windshield.
