My 2015 C300 Lease is ending and to buyout the car it would be $24k.

Instead, I plan on getting a used RX 350 instead for around the same price.

Thoughts on which one I should get?

 

You need to drive an F-Sport and a regular model as the ride is quite different and it has the 8 speed automatic, which in the early days, some folks did not like. I looked at your links, and think the 2014 with 23K would be a good choice, go drive it.

I got my 2010 in 2012 when it only had 21k, it has been fine the last 5.5 years, although I am ready for something with more modern infotainment and technology.

 

Definitely test drive as suggested above. Also, there's a lot more you need to look at than just MY and miles. What are your priorities as far as features, options, etc? Does any remaining base warranty matter to you?

Definitely get any vehicle you're seriously considering inspected.

 

Mine is a used car, too!
Some advises that I can share with you;
1. Check for history of that vehicle carefully. eg: services, accidents, damages....
2. Place of the used car or all owners. Eg: don't buy car from the North or the coast if it stayed there for more than 3 years; since the bottom can be damaged and salt can make car rushed.
3. Then go and see buy your own eyes. NEVER trust the internet absolutely everything!! Even the sale person, eg: when I searched for a RX350, I saw in the web is excellent, price is acceptable. But when I went to the dealer, I saw the gaps between the hood and the fender is strange. I asked the sale man and he told me it's normal. So I searched again and I saw that vehicle got accident. Accident or damage at the back is acceptable, but never buy if accident happened in the front, since the engine could be affected.
4. Have a drive test, and bring to a trustful mechanic to run a check for internal engines with special device. Sometimes, they can remove the light if the engine's got problem. So check for ABS, electricity, oil... check the tires too!
5. Finally, you can negotiate from $1,500-2,000 lower than the listed price. NEVER deal in the shop. They'll screw you! If they know they want to buy it desperately, they let you wait, and then complain many things until they've got the better price! Never let you be fooled. You can come back another day or to deal it by phone. You can go to the dealer in Friday evening, choose the sale guy with lowest sale and screw him again. One thing more, canNOT bargained with Indian owners....so cheappie and mean guys!!!
6. Download app VIN checks (check VIN number), Autotrader, iseecars, Edmunds... to have a better and wider comparison. I bought my car with the Edmunds app. The CarGuru leads you to Indian owners....as my experience!!!
