Default Chrome Door Handle (install and impression)

I purchased these chrome door handles on ebay for a little less than $9.99
The quality of the abs plastic was very well made and the chrome is very rich.
They also feel very sturdy when attached to the vehicle.

I had these on my 2005 RX and they held up pretty good. No problems with them falling off. I did notice after 4 years there were some scratches that were noticeable when you approached the vehicle but for only $10 these are a great improvement, and adds a nice touch to the existing chrome.

Looks quite classy and goes well with the chrome surround on the windows as well as the inserts near the door sills. Very smart looking, especially with the dark body colour.

Do the chrome handles affect the keyless entry and lock function? How do they get installed? Do you need to remove the existing handle or do they just cap over the existing door handles?

No problems with lock function. The front 2 have cut out for the little rectangle button on the handle.
Each cover had a 3m like adhesive just stick no need to remove handles

I also purchased the rear light chrome trim and the mirror chrome trim. I opted out of the pillar chrome trim (thought it would be too much)
