What up club lexus! I have an SC300 and I know this is the perfect place for advise on modifying my car. The first thing I want to do is put chrome door handles. Has anyone done this before or has any advise on how to do it?

Not sure on chrome door handles I feel its a little bit over the top with chrome. I suppose if you had chrome rims you could try to collaborate it but otherwise I'm not sure.

 

I'd also like to see chrome handles

 

The only chrome door handles you can install are the inside door handles from an ls400.

 

ive only seen them for sale on YAJ with just the handle chrome, not the surround

 

Wow, how nice. I wouldn't expect a warm response to this query, but suicide isn't necessary newcomer. Welcome to CL. I see how the handles could give more of a luxury look. That however isnt the look the masses on the board that have SC's are going after. Years ago I recall seeing someone with gold door handles to match the gold package. In the mid 90's I thought it was cool, thinking about it now makes me want to hurl. The chrome might not look that bad, he!! my mind was changed about some hood scoops!

 

Speaking of chrome (don't mean to get off topic), but did you ever get chrome emblems?

 

Not yet man. One person never got back with me, and I was in contact with the other but haven't heard from him in a few days. So I guess I'm back to square one.

What is this YAJ you speak of ? Thanks for the tips everybody I'm gona try n find some ls400 handles for the inside but still need the outside. I've bin looking at chrome tape does anyone know where to find it pre-cut?
