Power Steering Failure
Hello,
My 2010 Rx 350 been driving great with no issues. I ended up getting in my car to a "power steering system" error as well as a red steering wheel. I did get a oil change, tires rotated and checked for an alignment the day before. I also had a sub installed which actually shorted out last night. I don' know if that would matter but wanted to include anything recently done. It's currently at the Lexus dealership now. $330 just to diagnose. I've seen a few things online about a steering rack TSB's online but nothing solid where I can prove this is the issue and also potential failing ECU. I'm stuck at this point.

Considering power steering is an electrical component, the key words here would be "shorted out last night."
Time to disconnect sub from the the battery and start checking fuses.
