Removing Intake Plenum - Impossible?
I'm trying to change the spark plugs on my 2010 Rx350. How do you remove the bolts on the back of the intake? The passenger side bolt, 12mm, points 45 degrees down, so when I get a wrench on it I have zero clearance to move, and there is zero clearance to gain any leverage at all. I've seen some low profile air-powered impact wrenches, but they appear to be too long to fit in the space between the intake and the firewall. What expensive tool / magician / Shinto prayer is required to perform this tricky maneuver?
Thanks,
Phil
Thanks,

You may find some useful information here on the Toyota Highlander forum maintenance section as they are mechanical twins (except the RX has more upper cladding on the engine and the Highlander has more lower cladding) It will probably take at least 4 hours to do the rear plugs.
