Default L/Certified Complimentary Maintenance

I took in my 2013 RX450h for a 50,000 mile service today after explaining that it was within 2 years of buying certified and within 20,000 miles. Per this link:
http://www.lexus.com/lcertified/certification-warranty

The service supposedly is free for four factory-recommended services during that period. They refused, saying that started in 2016 not when I bought it certified in 2015. Anyone seen when this "complimentary maintenance" for certified vehicles went into effect?

I see it on my local dealer website......

COMPLIMENTARY SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Owners of L/Certified by Lexus vehicles also enjoy pre-paid maintenance benefits. Each L/Certified vehicle includes factory recommended maintenance for 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever occurs first [1]. The complimentary scheduled maintenance program gives you the peace of mind to enjoy your L/Certified vehicle and keep it running like it should.

I bought my CPO 2013 RX350 on December 26,2015, the Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance started in 2016,
I am not happy but it is what it is, at least the first 2 scheduled maintenance were complimentary.

I'm not fully understanding the difference. I thought all CPOs came with 2 years or 4 maintenance visits for free.

The issue is with the start date of the offering. L Certified rules (may) were changed in 2016. Since OP bought the vehicle in 2015, the 2015 L certified rules apply. That is the view of the service dept.

PS: My post is missing a key word "MAY"

I know. This happened to me too. I bought a 2015 "L Certified" RCF from a Lexus dealer in October 2015. None of the "goodies" associated with the new start date of January 1, 2016 as far as the "unlimited mileage warranty" applied. Mine is limited to 100k miles, if I remember correctly.

The first two FREE maintenance service WAS included for me because when I bought the RCF it had some 2k miles only. Therefore the 5k and the 10k service was at no charge. If the RCF I bought had a lot more miles and IF the original owner had already done the "TWO FREE SERVICES", then I will not be able to get the two services free.

Can't speak for the free service but at 50,000 miles the only thing that needs to be done is an oil change and tire rotation. This ordered a la carte should be $100.
