SO I have received emails for my Hybrids that the E destination will go away in July.

This is terrible for me.

I look up where I want to go and send it to the car.

I have multiple folders in both cars, maybe 30-40 locations.

And it's going away because only 5% of the users even know what this is and what to do with it.

There are only 5 memories in the Nav.

They said my folders will go away too.

I told NOT to renew my Enform on all my cars.
Am I the only one upset with this??

It's going away because it's been replaced by Saved Destinations.

You just go into the Enform app on your phone, click on Destination Search. Search for the address, click Save. In your car, go into your Apps, click on Saved Destinations. When it asks if you want to sync, say yes, and it'll load the address into your system and save it in the Saved Destinations folder for future use.

Will this work if you're not an Enform subscriber? Will the car talk direct to the app on the phone?

Jerry, I'm very upset about this to. I'm in the real estate business and sometimes have to drive by up to 10 location in a day. It was so easy to enter them in from my desktop on a real keyboard and now they will have to be entered on a mobile device or directly into the system as you sit in your car. Major disappointment to me. And, I just renewed my subscription last month for something like $345. I am so pissed.....

I guess it doesn't matter if it works because with the Android app you can't search by an address, just a list of POI's.

Maybe the Lexus Enform app will be updated soon since it has always been possible to search by address in the Destination Search of the similar Toyota Entune phone app.

You do need to be an Enform subscriber and have the app on your phone, but there's no cost associated with it. The app and account are free. Then you enter the address into the app and it sends it directly to the car. In the car you go into the apps, Saved Destinations, click "sync" and you'll see your addresses pop up.

This is very interesting. I was not aware that there was a difference in the Apple and Android versions of the app. In my Apple app, I go into Destination Search, and can enter a POI or just type an address into the field, then click search. When the address or POI pop up, I click SAVE and I'm good to go.

I have an Iphone, but don't think it syncs to this 2011 RX450?

The app will not install with my vin.

Guess 2011 is too old...

So I am out of luck.
The Lexus app does not work with my model.
I would have leased a new model, but hate the front grill.

I spoke with my dealer, cancelled my enform subscriptions for the July change.

I understand my folders will go away if the battery is disconnected.

Really stinks. I just purchased this RX450 from my lease 19,000 miles, had to buy it out.
Planning on buying the 2013 RX350, but the only way to get the message to Lexus is to cancel the subscription....

I was wrong about my statement. It appears you *can* in fact randomly search addresses rather than a pre-built list of POI's.

wrong app, the Lexus Enform App Suite is free to all owners, the Lexus Enform REMOTE app is a paid subscription.

Anyone feels as strongly as I do, cancel enform and send a message as to why..
Consider what they have done.
NO discount on enform after they removed the best feature ( for me).
