Default Missing front splash guard? - Looking for possible part #

First ost as I just joined the forum. My in laws bought a 2012 RX450h a few months back and found out they bought it through a friend of a friend who fixes wreck cars and sells them. In short this car had some front end damage and was repaired before they bought it. I noticed a few missing pieces and some fitment issues which are slowly getting resolved but having trouble locating what to order for what I think would be called the lower splash guard. Person who repaired it is no help at all so doing what I can. I attached a picture and what is in the red square is what is missing. Been searching and googling off and on for a few days and coming up blank. The component diagram from Lexus for the front end doesn't have this part listed that I see so hoping I could get some help here. Future thanks

Thanks for the reply. Thats the part I thought it was as well but looking at actual picture of that item and that looks to be the lower grill which is an insert into the bumper itself just above what I am showing is missing

I checked with my parts guy at dealer . On the rx350 there is a under engine cover that fills in that space . But on rx450h there was no panel in there . He would need the vin number to confirm that.

jdwilks, welcome to CL. Have you tried a Lexus dealer? Try getting the part number from them and search online for cheaper alternatives. It's something I'm guilty of doing every once in a while And check if the clips and screws to hold it in place are included. If not, they're pretty inexpensive, maybe a few dollars.

Barry, if you look to the right in jdwilks' picture, there's a few holes where the clips hold the plastic engine cover in place. I've removed it at least two dozen times to access the fog lights on my '10 450h. The mesh above it was flexible gutter screen a few of us early 3RXers installed to help protect the radiator.

Thanks Kitlz. Was being lazy and hadn't checked with dealership yet and like you was hoping to just get the part number so I could shop around online. I will try and run by my local one later. The picture you show is definitely the piece I am looking for. And Barry I see you mentioned you dealer said their was no suck piece on the 450h. I can see multiple holes for the piece to clip into place so two things. Like Kitlz says, it does belong on the 450h or the person who fixed the car possible used front end parts from a 350? Not sure how I could even tell but I was under impression they had the same front end based on blow up parts diagrams I am seeing. Part diagrams I have been looking at just arent showing this piece hence my confusion as well

OK think I am answering my own question but appears the part # is 514410E020. This is shown as part for RX350 for all years from 2010 to 2015 but only shown for the RX450 in 2010 or 2015 depending what site I go to so seems to be confusion there but that is the part that is shown in kitlz picture so going to go with that. Thanks again for help

Default 2010 RX 350 Missing Front Splash Guard

Not 100% sure, but I seem to be missing engine skid plate/splash guard, the plastic piece that is right below the engine. I believe I have the front piece correctly identified as part # 514410-E020. Is there something immediately behind that's missing or was there nothing there? Just wanted to confirm if possible, before I end up with the wrong piece.

Additionally, any chance someone can point me to the correct fasteners? Finally, what are the thoughts about installing it yourself without lifting up the car?

Looks like this piece is attached up front. Looking to confirm if there is anything supposed to go behind it.

Did you find the fasteners? I recall they are mostly 10mm bolts and a few plastic pop up retainers. If you search the shield part number at a site such as www.MYLPARTS.com or www.lexuspartsnow.com they should recommend the accompanying parts.
I found it helpful to use an electric screwdriver with a socket to remove and install those bolts as there are a lot of them.

Well, I sort of gave up since it seems like I have nothing to replace. The front shield is there and it sounds like there should be nothing behind it. Also heard back from my mechanic. He agrees.

Pro tip: paste your VIN on megazip.net to find all the part diagrams for your car.
