Default Please make this reminder go away!

I get this annoying reminder every time I start my Lexus. I'm not aware that anything is due and nothing is in red on the Maintenance page. Pressing the down arrow under Enter makes it go away -- until I start it again. I've NEVER understood the maintenance reminders in this vehicle. Am I supposed to put in the date I did the items or the next date I think they might be due??

Thanks so much!

The following should clear it:

1. Display the trip meter "A", then turn the "ENGINE START STOP" switch off.
2. While pressing the "ODO/TRIP" button, turn the "ENGINE START STOP" switch to IGNITION ON mode.

Keep the "ODO/TRIP" button pressed for about 5 second. The resetting procedure is complete when "000000" in the trip meter flashes once and the message in the multi-information display disappears.

KL wagoner,
The "Maintenance Required" reminder comes on every 5,000 miles no matter what. I just deleted mine, just like it says in JDR76's post.

OK, thank you both! I know about resetting it this way and I've done it before. This didn't make sense because, as I said, nothing appeared (in red) to be due so it didn't occur to me to do this reset.
Thanks again!!
