Can we overide prohibition on setting GPS while moving?
As driver is driving, passenger can safely put address in.

Fortunately, we should be able activate hospital addresses already stored in the address book!

 

Beatsonic is one way to do it. And if it is an address you entered before, try Previous Destinations. That option is not disabled while driving.

 

Yes, but I think it's a very involved process. At least when I looked into this when I first got my LX570. Will need to take off the dash to get to the NAVI since there are some additional hardware to be installed. I wished it was just some software mods.

Nowadays, I just use WAZE on my phone and Bluetooth to the NAVI.

 

Why not just use the voice commands? I find them fairly easy to use.

Forgot to mention you can use the live DESTINATION ASSISTANCE with your voice. But you must have an active subscription. I use this a lot when I'm "rolling". Becareful, you might be sent to a location that was not what you wanted. One time traveling and I was looking for MSY, New Orleans Airport in one of my own Lexus vehicles. I spelled out the airport call letters , MSY, in addition to telling the operator New Orleans Airport. The live DESTINATION ASSISTANCE still managed to mess up and sent me to some near by tiny general aviation airport some 6 miles away. With traffic I almost missed my flight!!
