Default Need Advice - Financing Lexus RX350

Thinking about buying my first lexus as i am transitioning from RAV4. Got 2 small kids and was hoping if i buy 2012-2015 version with decent mileage (~ 30-35,000 KM), how long can i expect it to last, also maintenance on the RX.

Thanks for the advice in advance.

Any bank or credit union will finance you...no worries. With proper maint your new Lexus will last many years and many miles.....200k plus is not unrealistic.

The RX is a great family vehicle. I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old and it's great.

My RX is low mileage (26k) and just a bit shy of 3 years old, but I haven't had a single squeak, rattle, or any other issue. Just a couple oil changes and tire rotations so far. No reason to believe it wouldn't run indefinitely.

FYI - 777Pilot - I am a Boeing Flight Deck Design Engineer, currently working on 777X.

I got our second RX in January 2015, previous one was a 2004 and it probably had about 230K km when it was totaled . The current ride is a 2011 Touring with NAV, CPO, and with 110K km for C$30K HST included. I've the Japanese model but my 2004 was Ontario made.

I've since put in about 35K km. No issues so far, just oil changes every 8K/six months at the dealer for about $130 with a loaner, car wash, vacuum, and, of course, unlimited espresso. Next maintenance is scheduled in two weeks and will cost about $220 + tax.

In the Capital, Toyota dealers will not touch Lexus cars but apparently in GTA, Toyota dealers do.

As for financing, compare the rate to your personal LOC or secured LOC as it is usually cheaper than the Lexus financing for used cars.

Good luck and let us know what you score.
