smoked taillights

hi everyone. just picked up a '15 RX 350 over the wknd and i'm planning on getting the windows tinted tmw.

has anyone smoked their tail lights using a vinyl film? if so could you PLEASE provide me with some photos?

one thing i'm not a very big fan of is how the stock tail lights look and want to do a minor mod to make it more visually appealing to my own eyes haha. i've already seen the thread on the Meteo LED Tail lights (which look great imo) but because i got the car on a lease i'm trying to go with the cheap route if at all possible.

This is not what youre going for, but this is what i had done on my RX before, i used plastidip, it was just to try to see what it would look like, after a month or so i removed plastidip from my taillights but left the grill, bumper lights and defender bar black, will redo the bar in gloss black in a week when redoing my wheels.

thanks for the replies, i appreciate it. i saw the photo's on google as well as the old forum post before i initially posted... i was hoping for an example of something slightly less dark but i guess i wont really know until i take it to a shop.
