So i've had Aerotect's smoked tail lights and reflectors for a while... I just got a speeding ticket last week and the CHP officer gave me a warning for my tints/ taillights. So i've recently started to consider taking them off and just put redouts on them instead. What do you guys think? Here's what the car looks like now...

IS-F tails lightly tinted would look nice

but the taillights arent even that dark. looks clean to me, esp on a dark colored car

it looks fine. im sure a lot of the people who don't like it do not have a black obsidian car. just don't get a ticket and you'll be fine. i'm sure you get comments from your friends that they like it. a lot of ppl on CL don't like it. looks clean and I like it. however, it looks much cleaner if you get it painted on by a professional, on the inside of the taillights. keep it for now. no need to waste the money you spent on it and spend more on red outs.

I have an Obsidian/Black and I would say get rid of them.

also, if you just get red outs, you will just blend in with all the other IS's around town. the overlays help you stick out : D
