Default Light Leveler Computer (ecu) Location

My suv is a rebuild and it originally had HID headlights. They were replaced with Halogen lights that don't have levelers. My dash comes up with Check Headlight Leveler error. I want to turn that off.
Someone on here told me to disconnect the Computer that controls the light levels and it's location is behind the panel above the brake pedal. My mechanic can't seem to spot it. Lexus dealer gave me a part number of 85967-08020 which turns out to be a computer ballast. Does anyone know the right part number and location of that ecu

You may want to subscribe to TIS (Toyota Technical Information System) for a couple days and get as many manuals as you can. It will be a worthy investment.

I did look into that at one point. However to find out where this unit is may not be that easy. Might be better luck finding help on here especially if someone has had that unit fail on them in the past.

The wiring diagrams I have for my IS300 have all of ECU locations.
With all the problems you have with this rebuild, tech manuals will be of great help.
Someone here may know where it is, but this being the RX forum, chances are lower than with other makes and models.

No part numbers. You can find those easy enough when you're trying to buy a unit.
But it does have a diagram of the whole car with each ECU, even connector mapped.
Took 30 seconds for me to figure out where it would have been and its name in the IS300 if I didn't know already: Headlight Beam Level Control ECU.

Cool. I've been meaning to subscribe myself to get the RX manuals, but haven't gotten to it yet. I just don't have a lot of plans for mods for it.
STi, on the other hand, will get an aftermarket remote start and an in-dash nav, so it gets first priority. But not before I finish replacing stock shocks and get my V1 hardwired.
