"A program cannot be read. Please consult to a dealer error message"
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my 2011 Lexus RX. Couple of days ago, the battery was discharged and after I was able to turn the car back on, the navi screen turned black with a message saying "A program cannot be read. Please consult to a dealer", with Japanese characters under it. The major problem is I could not turn the air-con, back camera and everything on (no radio, no music, nothing). Anybody has ever had this problem?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

I think it may be time to obey the message and consult a dealer. Probably under warranty.

I'll bet it's a theft deterrent on the radio/nav system. Changed a battery on my daughter's Civic a month ago. Had to enter a specific code supplied when the car was new in order for the radio to wake up.
