My used 2013 came with Craplops (Dunlops) on them. Can you tell that I'm not impressed? Cannot believe how much they charge for these tires either!

Hi Kimberly,
You will find preferences vary, but I like Michelin Latitude Tours. They seem to provide a better ride with less road noise than the Dunlop Duelers that came with our '11 RX.
But like someone said, there are many brands of tires, and just as many opinions about them.

The road noise is the thing I specifically hate about the Dunlops. I've seen several posts in which Michelin are highly prefered. I figure that's the route I'll go when the time comes but dang Michelin is pretty proud of those too! But, hey, if they're remotely quiet at least they'll be worth it.
I have only had my car a few weeks and my mom has only had hers a couple months, but I have driven both a great deal at this point…I can DEFINITELY tell a difference - I prefer the Michelins…funny though - her driver's seat is more comfortable than mine!
Just bought the wife a new 2015 RX350 and it came with the Dunlops. Her 2011 had 40k miles on the Michelins with still reasonably good tread left. New tires are softer because rubber continues to slowly vulcanize for the life of the tire. Hardness depends on time at operating temperature. The deep soft tread on new tires makes her Dunlops seem softer and quieter compared to the old tires on the 2011, but that can change over time. I am not fond of Dunlops either, but we shall see...
Does anyone use Bridgestone Dueler H/L 422 and how is it? I experience some road noise on my 2011 RX (bought used)with Michelin Lat. My 2014 Highlander got Bridgestone Dueler and the road noise is much less. I don't know because they are newer. Tire rack rates Bridgeston higher than Michelin.
Do you have this now ? the verde a/s right ? i have it, im near end of life, worse 40k i ever had. Rides good but kills the mpg (450h), went from 33mpg to 27mpg. I'm looking for new tires very soon

We have a tire review thread on top of the forum like oohpapi mentioned. It includes opinions on OE and other brand tires. I'm going to close this one rather than have two threads going on the same topic.
