Default Nav Setting -Arrival Time

On last trip in '13 RX350, I changed the Nav display from hours and minutes to destination to "Arrival Time." It showed the arrival time for about 30 seconds and then immediately reverted to the minutes enroute to my destination. I changed it at least a dozen times but each time it reverted to the minutes left in my trip.

Since I'm 200 miles from the nearest Lexus dealer, I can't just drop by and have them check this out. Has anyone experienced this? Is there some setting that I need to adjust?

Thanks for your help.

Hmm... I've switched it as you have but it stayed every time I did the switch. Can't think of a setting that would auto-switch back. I'll take a look and see if I can find something.

My setting stays when I switch between Arrival Time or Time to Destination (Pics 1+2)

There could be an issue with the software in yours for some reason. Before going to the dealer, try changing the settings. Place them the same as I do for the time being and test it with a quick run to your neighborhood store. In case you are not aware, the settings are accessed from the main home screen, "Settings - Navigation - Detailed Navi Settings" (Pics 3-5). Remember to click "Save" when done.

I had the exact problem a while ago. Strangely, it was right after my 2013 Rxh was in for a service at the dealer. I called my SR to see if any updates had been applied and he said NO. It was very irritating!

As you did, I reset it from duration to arrival time and kept doing it for about 40 min as I recall! Then it stayed for a while so I kept changing it back to arrival time when I'd notice it had reverted. Finally it stayed on the desired setting. However, I've noticed that it usually goes back to duration at the outset of a new trip now which it did not do previously. Changing it back to arrival time usually causes it to remain in that setting for the duration of the current trip.

I am clueless as to why it would do this.
