Decision made...not getting hybrid/nav.
I've negotiated and the price differential I'm getting between a 2014 and 2015 is just over $2000. Which would you get, assuming all colors/options are the same?

The pursuit of F
If you will keep the car many years at least 5-6+ years, get the '14 as resale value between the two model years will shrink as more time goes by (all factors being the same like mileage, and condition of vehicle) so might as well save $2K now.

That's not much of a price difference. I'd expect more at this point. Some of the new features on the '15 include:

The difference shrank to about $1400, so I committed to a 2015! The added advantage was that it's from my local dealer, whereas I would have had to travel a couple of hours to get the 2014.
Now I'm trying to determine whether I want any coatings or film applied (right after I get it).

Congrats Artichoke1. Sounds like you got the better deal with the RX being close to home. The add-ons can be costly so make sure you do your research first. You can start by searching the detailing forum to get some opinions. When's the lucky day?

I'm in the market for an RX350 and this will be my first Lexus purchase (and much higher priced than any other car I've owned). I spent about 2 hrs with a salesman the other day, including test drives in an RX350 and ES350. Unfortunately I don't have much time to choose my options and try to find a close match because I promised my current car to someone. I could really use a mentor! Any suggestions?
Then consider adding Comfort/Luxury/Premium package.
