I was just reading about the features on the new RX. Has anyone seen one yet? It list an
Illuminated entry system . I was just wondering what that is.

 

I believe those are the puddle lights located under the outside mirrors.

Depending on whether the doors are locked or not, open or closed, the interior dome lights, foot well light, inside door light and outside door light will come on when you approach the car with the key fob on your person.
It seems to know to light the way as you approach and enter the car.
It's Lexus way of saying hello. : )

Yes, I was referring to the 2015 RX. I was wondering if they went back to the lighted Lexus logo on the door like the 2009 had. Just curious.
