Rear bumper - cost to replace
I am brand new to the forum and my 2014 RX is 3 months old today - however...in need of a new rear bumper. I'm not terribly happy about it. (I posted this on the first generation board by mistake - ooops).
The driver's side rear bumper corner is completely dented and scratched and the small light at the bottom of the bumper is broken.
I had assumed initially I would NOT go through the dealer, but after reading some posts on this forum, it may be a cheaper option. My first estimate came back at $2000 ($1200 for parts and $800 for labor). This seemed high to me, which is why I am here. Does anyone have experience with a rear bumper replacement and approximate cost?
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

A few months ago I had the front bumper cover on my 2011 Tacoma replaced, painted, and matched/blended. Total bill was around $950 from a very reputable shop.
If you reuse your reflectors and are careful with the hardware, the bumper cover is all you need. With a Sewell account, the rear bumper cover, code 52159, is only $319 + tax + shipping (with a Sewell account). All you need is to have the unmounted cover itself painted ~$150 (since there's no masking and extra labor required if it were installed first), and finally you can remove and install it yourself if you have some DIY in you: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...r-removal.html
Good luck.
EDIT: Missed your note about the reflector being cracked. That adds $194+ tax+shipping.

After looking at the itemized bill from the repair. The cost to replace the bumper including a new footpad, passenger side bumper light, the impact absorber, and various clips totaled around $1500. That includes paint and labor.
( it was so annoying because I had not even owned the car for a solid month yet. Anyway, I had it taken to parks place lexus of Plano and they repaired the entire bumper for 915 dollars! Hopes that helps as far as pricing
Repair
Replace with after market
Replace with OEM
Keep in mind there is the skin and then the real bumper and reinforcement hidden underneath the skin.
I have repaired the dent in the skin by heat gun. Scratch and painting was not needed.
For repair of bumper, there are specialty shops and assuming there are no cracks they can fix a bumper with minor paint job for about 250-400 US$.
Replace with OEM can be an easy job if you can find the matching paint through salvage yards.
Cheapest replacement is with aftermarket, but the skin has to be painted. The skin is pure cosmetics so OEM/after_market is not important and the paint + finish are the important part.
OEM again would need paint and finish.

Company A, Large number ratings almost all 5 star yelp review
$1160, after market
$1350, OEM
Company B, Large number of ratings, most 5 star, an few more negatives
$1231, after market
Company C, A few rating, all 5 stars, recommended by friend
$1173, based on price OEM, labor was estimated lower
I went with company A, and went with OEM, (OEM was a close decision and could have gone either way)
