Thanks Wilchan! I bought one with the saddle and you are right…..It is gorgeous and I love it!
Everyone that sees it says how rich and beautiful it is.
Black offers no contrast, depth or visual distinction between the interior of the car and the exterior. It's boring, uninteresting and says to the world that you are all empty inside.
Pick a color, any color, and step into the sunlight.
Coming from an all black interior (literally, including the headliner and wood), could not agree more. I had not choice as I really wanted the F-Sport model for its handling and sportier more aggressive front end, so compromise it was. If I had the choice, definitely something lighter.

Personally, would be my choice as well. Having had similar colors in past RXs, it creates the richest most luxurious interior.
I see from a later post above, you decided on this color. Congrats! Post pics please.
We chose the saddle with the starfire pearl on our new RX. The parchment held up well in our 2009, but I wanted something darker this time and black was too stark for our liking. We get a lot of positive comments with the saddle.
When we went shopping for our new RX 350 we were looking for black interior, having had black leather in other cars. We also wanted Claret Mica exterior (the dark red burgandy color). Once we saw the saddle tan leather we knew immediately that's what we wanted. I agree that it has a luxurious look and I think it's dark enough not to have a problem showing "dirt". I had a RX 450 loaner when I had the body side moulding installed and it had black leather. Nice but glad we chose the saddle tan. It's really a matter of personal preference, so get what you like.
My previous car (2008 Hyundai Santa Fe) had beige leather and like others, I experienced the "blue jean" stain which required frequent cleaning. I'll never have light colored leather again.
My "ecru" (white) interior in my old SC430 was very hard to keep clean, and I did not put a lot of miles on it. I like a lighter interior on a dark colored car, to give it some definition, but this was just too white. The light gray and the light tan Lexus interiors are very nice. The Saddle would be very nice with the Claret - in fact, my new Infrared RC has the "Flaxen" (tan) interior, and it is quite nice. Many of your fancy red racing cars (Ferraris) have a tan interior. It's somewhere between tasteful and bold fashion statement. Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
I have saddle tan interior with black in my 2015 RX. This color is one of the reasons we purchased this vehicle. We love the interior color. It's a nice saddle tan, too. My buddy has a 2012 IS 250 and his is saddle tan inside, too. However, it is a little more orange tan then my 2015RX, It's a true brown tan color. Very rich looking. I highly recommend it. As for black I would try to avoid it as it's hot in summer weather and shows dust and dirt much easier then saddle tan would.
