Hi,

I'm trying to do some OEM mods for my wife's RX 350. I'm thinking of getting the F sport wheels but I'm not sure how it would look on a 2011 Starfire Pearl RX. It looks good on the F sport model with its aggressive front end but not sure how it would look on a 2011. Anyone w/ that set up that would be able to provide pictures or can photoshop it (SFP RX w/ F sport wheels). I would really appreciate it.

Mors, I appreciate the help. It does look good on a SFP. I've seen the F sport wheels on a SFP F sport model and for some reason the wheels look a lot darker (almost gun-metalish). Maybe there's a few different wheel colors? Can anyone confirm.

 

Unfortunately, I can't help with the actual color. In the professional lighting studio that Lexus uses, the colors vary it seems. Pictures on their website just don't look quite spot on and they vary in brightness/color. Not sure if you've seen the following thread:

The original F-Sport wheels are much darker as you stated and on the SFP, it contrasts more than on my Nebula Gray or on an Obsidian. Here's an F-Sport SFP from the side view to give you an idea since it could almost pass as a 2011...

Anybody here done they wheels, im looking forward to do my next weekend of a weekend after. my rx is pearl white, stock wheels, i wanna just wrap them in 3-4 coats of plasti dip and finish with a coat or two of clear coat so they look glossy, any opinions on that?

 

The F-sport wheels are really close to '11 Smokey Granite Mica body color. They are that dark. Friend bought a SFP F-Sport for his wife. She didn't like the color combo with the wheels so we took them off and put them on another friend's '11 SGM. The result was totally smokin'.
