Direct systems measure each tire's pressure with a sensor.
Indirect systems use tire rotation rate to indicate a change in pressure. E. g. 04 to 06 LS430s.

My RX350 with NAV gives the tire pressure for each tire. I find it easier to use my hand held gauge rather than flip through the NAV screens to find the one that gives the tire pressure.

Do you recall where that is in the menu? I didn't think the 350 had that, and I've searched and searched but can't find anything like that.

^ + 1 on the question about the 350.
I have navigation too, and i don't recall having tire pressure for each tire.

From what I have seen in this forum, the individual tire pressure display is included only in the 450h models. Could coachlkg confirm that it is a 350?

It displays all 4 of them, but doesn't tell you which one is which. Or at least we have not figured it out without using a manual tire-pressure guage.

Only the 450 has this feature. They are trying to confirm where coachlkg found it on the 350.

My bad. I spent an hour trying to "re-find it" on my RX 350. Then I tried my Cadillac CTS--there it was. Sorry for the bad information.
