3RX rear wiper replacement (merged threads)
I thought that an easy way to tell from the rear if a 2010 RX was a 350 or a 450h was to look at the location of the rear wiper blade. I thought that the blade on the 350 was mounted at the bottom of the rear glass and the blade on the 450h was mounted at the top of the glass, hidden by the overhang. Much easier than looking at the chrome lettering. However, today I saw a vehicle with RX 350 lettering but with the rear wiper working from the top of the glass. Was I seeing things or was my basic assumption incorrect? Where on the rear glass is the wiper blade mounted on a 2010 RX 350?

yep, there are only 4 exterior cues to differentiate the two models
1) blue tinted tailight and headlight covers
2) blue badging around the lexus logo and the H
3) chrome strip on the door sills has a hybrid logo
4) chrome fog light covers

Don't take mine through the car wash but appreciate it in the winter with the snow - easy to clear. Having the windshield wiper fluid spritzers under the front hood instead of on the hood is better too. And the rear wiper covers the whole wiping area. No little missed section anymore. Only inconvenience is cleaning it. I keep forgetting to turn it on and stop half cycle to get to it.
Forgot the rims. They're pretty awesome (hint, hint).

One more difference - the front bumper of 450h has the vent gap...
