Clicking Headrest
Anyone's driver seat head rest make a clicking/tapping sound every time their head hits the headrest such as in stop and go traffic. It sounds like the metal rod on the outboard side closest to the door is hitting the plastic tunnel. Its not really noticeable until you turn off the radio for some peace and quite when stuck in traffic. My dealer says its not covered in warranty and it meets specification. Which I agree I felt rather ridiculous for them to look at such a small problem. The solution is to replace the headrest then seat; the cost is not worth it feel. They said nothing was broken. Anyone have this problem? or know a solution possibly?

Since it 'Meets Specification' they should have no problem letting you swap it with a like one on their lot if one is available. Just my 2 cents.

Dealer wouldn't cover it in warranty as it meets specifications. At least the good thing is the passenger side one doesn't so I switched the driver and passenger side.

Update: Click is still hear. Is this something that should be covered in warranty? I first brought it up at 45,000 and was told operating normally, but now at 55,000 I am so annoyed with it. Is it still possible to get this covered? My car is CPO also. I think the rod is hitting the plastic tube.
