Default Driver Seat Creaking Sound When Turning

Ok, maybe I'm just fat or something, but my driver's seat makes a creaking sound whenever I make a tight and fast left turn. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before? I'm positive that it's coming from the seat and not the body or chassis. Thanks.

I think your problem might simply a screw is loose or something because I had the similar problem before, just go to the dealer and have them take a look....good luck

Thanks kyang91. I really hope it's something as simple as a screw.

I had the same issue a couple years ago...and I'm not fat

I can't recall what the exact issue was, but I believe the seat was not aligned properly on the track. In any event, it was a quick and easy fix.

I'll try repositioning the seat to different distances and angles and make some crazy left turns after work. If it still creaks, I'll take it to the dealership.

the noise is probably the pins that the seat slides on. there is enough space between them and the rails that the seat rocks a little is the way my dealer explained it to me. There is a TSB to install a collar around them. took care of it for me.

Actually, while driving "normally", it would creak on any turn. Guess that I only trained my ear to hear it while turning left.

It's not a huge issue for me to lose sleep over. I'll just bring it up the TSB with my service adviser at my next oil change.

Thanks everyone!
