Yes it is on a 13 UK plate so it is the 2014 model. No other changes apart from that though!

That color interior does look nice. I hope Lexus offers more color choices on the F-Sport in the USA other than black.

 

Well over here, this is an F Sport exclusive colour. the red isnt available on the other models, not even the fully loaded premier! I went to see it just for the buzz of it and it looked ok i guess. I like the black/white perforation interior more. I think the red doesn't look anywhere near as good as it does in the GS!

 

At a minimum, they should have the center arm rest cover match the seats. It just looks incomplete to me.

 

Thats exactly what bugged me too. I think a nice red shifter and a red armrest would be great as well as the backs of the seat being red too. Doesnt look that bright though in person, its a darker, rust type colour. The colour is attractive, just too incomplete for my liking.

 

The US specs for interior color shows some interiors match the center arm rest with the seats; however, the Saddle Tan (Red) center arm rest is shown in black. I note that my center arm rest is black leather in front and the back the center arm rest matches the seats, go figure?

 

Thats really weird. Its kind of like they couldnt be bothered making red or tan coloured armrests!

 

We considered an Outback with Special Appearance Package that has a saddle interior and I just looked at pictures and it has a matching center arm rest. I can see why they left it black, it is a nice contrast color and much of the interior is already black, but I'm not a big fan. The whole F-Sport interior is such a mild change I can see why they want to spice it up a bit with this red. It's not for me but I can see why people like it and it will attract younger buyers for sure.
