Hi guy,

I went to 3 dealerships today to check out their GX inventory and color selections, but I was unable to see any GX comes with gray leather interior with sport package (w/ KDSS). It seems like only choice is ivory interior with SP's black maple trim.

Does anyone has a GX with gray interior together with sport package?? Please post a photo if possible. Thanks!

Warning, personal opinion below:

Have you seen it with Ivory? I have Sport with Ivory. After seeing the Sport with Gray, it was a make/break deal to get Ivory. With the Sport having the black wood and metal accents, the Gray was just to dark/drab for us. The Ivory works better. My preference though would have been the lighter wood and no metal, but that is not an option.

Thanks for your input. Both me and my wife prefer gray interior over ivory (if we can get it) since ivory is difficult to keep clean.

Did you say you saw sport pkg with gray? So it is available (of course depending on dealers' stock)??

 

Unfortunately Lexus.com do not have Sport Package for me to build (strange).

Mine's ivory but my friend just got one with gray leather. He traded in his '03 with ivory leather.

Thanks for your inputs. Now I know gray leather interior exists with sport pkg, if the dealer tells me otherwise then I know it is a lie.

Just an FYI, they are only making 7% of GX's as sport models. My dealer had to get one from Toledo, OH and we live in Rochester, NY

They are somewhat rare and finding one with gray may be difficult.

I just rcvd a quote from a dealer whom has a sport pkg GX (silver w/ ivory) for $50,750 (MSRP $56,148) on his lot.

What do you think of this price? Can I do better?

 

My friend just got one for his wife, it looks as perfect as it could. IMHO ivory would look totally out of place. black exterior with chacoal gray with the highlights of the black wood and polished aluminum sport package........I wished I had waited. And not to mention the front bumper accessory........

oh he paid 50,250 for his msrp was 59k (demo with 4950 miles)

 

Sounds like a great deal! but I think you would be happier with a gray interior as opposed to the ivory.

gx470atl is right, it wouldn't look a good with the Ivory, I would hold out for a gray interior.......

Just personal opinion - I think GX/Prado looks way more luxurios with Ivory rather than black interior. We have both options here in Europe (Prado Executive) and actually I rather think ivory is easier to clean than black under normal use, because with black you see everything, including dust!
