Child Lock Run Amok!
2010 RX450H. The driver's side rear passenger child lock randomly engages on its own. It works on one trip and then on the next, the person can't get out and has to be let out from the outside. It's totally random and I can't replicate it at will so I can't prove it to the dealer. The dealer replaced the door lock mechanism/actuator and I shut off all automatic locking options via the Remote Touch and it still exhibits this behavior.
Are there any other mechanical/wiring/software things that could possibly be causing this? That switch takes a bit of effort to physically move and it's moving to the up position to lock on its own. I guess I could tape it in place as a crude fix but would really like to diagnose what could be the culprit.
Any ideas???

Should still be under warranty. Let the dealer take care of it.

I DID take it to the dealer. They replaced the locking mechanism but no luck. Neither the dealer nor I know what to do next as neither of us can duplicate the malfunction - it just happens when it happens (ususally once per day or every other day over the course of 6-12 trips).
