Arrow Tires for 2013 RX 450H

Looking to get 4 new tires and trying to read thru all the reviews, options, etc....

Live in the Northeast but looking for all season tires. 19"

RX came with Dunlop Grandtreks (current mileage is 31K)

Any recommendations? I have a pretty good price on Yokohama Geolander G055.....anyone else have these?

Thanks!

Default Michelin Defender LTX - did I get a good deal

I paid $843 total for 4 tires plus $70 for install. Grand total including everything like taxes, shipping, disposal fees, and etc. (no warranties or free balancing for life and stuff) was $913. Michelin LTX is a tried and true brand/model which I used 3 different times in the past. Smooth ride and great wet traction while giving up just bit on the dry breaking and at-the-limit handling.

Did I get a good deal?

That is a really good deal. Especially for those tires. I Believe i paid about $850 back in 2016 for the same tires for my Highlander. Really good tires. If it is available, see if you can get the rebate send in, sometime you can get up to $100 visa gift card.

Looks like they are doing $70 rebate. https://www.discounttire.com/promoti...SAAEgIzzPD_BwE

Default tires for 450h awd???

There seems to be a very wide divergence of opinions on replacement tires on mostly old replies. Does anyone have more recent experiences????

Default Yokohama yk740 gtx and Cooper cs5

These two tires have some decent reviews and the 10% non believers and they are obviously more affordable than the Michelin. It is a big enough investment either way to not seeking as much comment as possible.

I'm running the Michelin Latitude HP all seasons currently and love them. I have used them in the winter in the past and they did decently in the snow. I do however, now run a performance snow tire in the winter.

Default Goodyear WeatherReady Tires

Been reading some comments about these new Goodyear tires and how well they are designed for the SUV market. I’m still looking at replacing my Michelin Latitudes. I’m not sure if I should go against the majority of RX 350 owners recommendations. The Michelin brand is a highly regarded name in the tire business. Tirerack latest review on the Goodyear Weather Ready tires was very good. I know reviews are very subjective and not always reflect reality. Please share your comments.

Default Happy with my LTX's, but they may not last that long.

I have been riding on my Michelin Premier LTX's for over two years now, and I have absolutely no complaints. However, be aware that others have reported that they will not last close to 60,000 miles. I am hoping to get 30K-40K out of mine, but others have reported even less. I still have no complaints, however.

I'm replacing my oem Grandtrek tires in a few months. Got about 40K now. I've narrowed down my choices to either the Michelin LTX or Defender.
Researched both and on tirerack.com the LTX has low score on treadwear; I recall it gets a 6 out of 10 while the Defender gets 9. I'm leaning toward the Defender but it's a H rated tires instead of V-rated for LTX. Does anyone have any experience with the Defender?

I decided to go against the LTX for the same reason. Not sure about the defender.
I did have Michelin Latitude Touring HP as the OEM tires that came with the vehicle. They lasted about 110k km (69k miles) and were at 2/32 when I replaced them earlier this year. I don't drive hard or bank tight corners. I went with another set of Michelin Latitude Touring HP since the first set worked great.

I have decided on the Continental True Contact Tour as I have read some favorable reviews for SUV's including my 2013
RX450h AWD. I had almost settled on the LTX but was also concerned about tread wear AND snow performance. I will report back on my experiences...

Default Picked Premier LTX

I have just replaced my Dunlop GrandTrek Touring A/S after 36,000 miles, 2/32nds remaining,
with Michelin Premier LTX (P235/55R19) < 101V > on a 2012 RX350 FWD.

Its only been a few weeks but I like them, and have had a much higher than usual opportunities to drive in heavy rain.

My local Discount Tire beat the Costco out the door price. I paid $782 (+ sales tax) for the 4 tires, installation, valves and lifetime balancing; no Certificates for replacement.

went to Toyota and got buy 3 get 1 free deal on Yokohama Geolander G055 (19s)....with alignment, tax, etc... under $775 (plus I should get a $50 rebate from Yokohama)...beat the dealership by over $250. I did go to the dealership to see if they could come close to the Toyota deal but no dice.
Will update if any issues.....
