Leather seat repair
I have a small pull on the rear of driver's seat on the surface of the pull out map holder. The leather has been pulled but the underside fabric is intact.
Two questions - Has anyone used any of the leather repair kits? If so, which kit did you use?
Any idea if the map holder can be removed to make the repair? Obviously it would be easier to work on flat surface rather than the vertical surface of seat back. - OK that's three questions but....
Fortunately the pull is low and reasonably inconspicuous but with black leather and white under fabric, stands out.
Thanks for the help.

The pursuit of F
I once used the Permatex brand repair kit on a small tear on my leather sofa's armrest. Ironically, I bought it initially to fix a very small tear in the rear door armrest of my previous RXh but then I sold it and never got to it. It was fairly easy to use for a DIYer and job came out well. Key thing is getting the color right but since you have black, it should be easy since it's one of the native colors you get in the kit. The fix on the sofa was almost imperceptible unless you knew of the prior tear. Are you in the GTA? I bought this at Princess Auto a couple years ago and for just 11$, it's worth it IMHO.
