Dunno if there is a newer thread than this one but this is the one that you find on Google. This works on RX's 2010 or newer according to the part information.

Just wanted to put that here since the info that was posted previously was last year when it first came out.

REPEAT

RX 2010 or newer will work with the RES+.

if you want RES+ your better off with the viper system. ive heard bad things about RES+ and phone compatibly/functions(not worth the +1000 dollars dealer wants)
i installed the regular res and love it so far. but thats just with remote and suits my needs

Default Lexus RES+ Activation

Hi,
I have a 2014 Lexus GX460 Luxury. Yesterday I had the RES+ installed in my vehicle, however when I attempted to register the system it does not recognize the RES+Ser# that was issued with the system. First of all, the login steps to register is incorrect, which states:

1- Account Registration - http:/www.lexusdrivers.com
LOGIN or JOIN Lexus Driver website
- New members click JOIN to create a new account
- Existing members click LOGIN
2- Click on RES+ icon
3- Click on REGISTER
4- Enter information
Vehicle nickname- Personalize
VIN- Vehicle dash
RES+ serial number- key tag
5- Enter payment method
Annual subscription fee
6- Add smartphones(s)
Up to 4 smartphones can be added

(The registration page cannot be accessed through this website) I had to perform a google search to even find the RES+ registration page. It seems like all of the information is outdated. I thinking that the dealership my have installed a device that is outdated to get off of their inventory.

My question is...has anyone else experienced this problems?
Thanks
J W

Unhappy

You're going to regret paying a cent for it. Honestly Lexus should be ashamed for even charging people for that product. The coverage is so terrible and the app is even worse. Hell, there was one point were the service was out of order for like 2 weeks earlier in the year. Not ****ting you. Contact customer service if you're having any issues. Or take it back to the dealership and make them get it working or remove it and give you your $$ back (you could only be so lucky).
