Default 2013 Navigation System Back-up Camera

A number of people have told me that the 2013 navigation option on the2013 RX 350 includes a back-up camera. However, no one seems to know if the camera system includes guide lines that help you judge distances similar to those in most other luxury brands. Does anyone have experience with the camera in a 2013 model?

It's easy to judge the distance since he camera shows the rear bumper of RX and the objects behind you. In addition you hear beeps the closer you get to the objects.

Sarhento---the beeps that you are speaking about come from the Intuitive Park Assist option - not the navigation system's backup camera and display......Having said that, most US option packages include the Intuitive Park Assist - unlike the Canadian ones where Lexus Canada will only let us have it if we buy either of the Ultra premium models - Lexus Canada needs to rethink what they are offering us!!

Yeah, I know the beep is for parking assist system. I only added that because of the question about "judging the distance" the OP asked. The beep that the parking assist makes, together with what you can see through the camera, it helps in determinig how far your vehicle is from touching/hitting objects behind.
