how much was your car and features?
i just test drove one CPO but it was in bad condition so didnt buy it

 

I am curious why a Lexus in bad condition would be sold as a CPO; what was wrong with it???

 

the seat leather was cracked (only 11k miles on the car) and there were dinges
he said it was a trade in and they dont detail it as it has too few miles or some explanation which didnt make sense

I purchased the COP vehicle for 38,880. It is in nearly pristine condition. I say "nearly pristine" because there are some minor exterior scratches. I am confident they can be buffed out. The car is equipped with back-up camera, power seats for driver and passenger, auto side mirrors, multi-disc CD changer, and key less entry. I don't know if anything or maybe even everything I've listed is standard equipment but I was impressed.

it looks Brand new and the minor scratches arent even visible. It seems like you got a good deal. was it $38k on the road after taxes or before? I think the features you mentioned are standard on the lexus RX. The only upgrade available was the NAV package. I am researching and checking out a few dealerships before I buy a similar car to yours (i dont want one with NAV either as i love my garmin)

How many miles did it have?

 

It was 38k before tax and license. Final purchase was closer to 40k. I would have liked one with NAV and considered adding it. My sales rep. advised against it. She said it was better to stick with my garmin as NAV is too expensive to add on.

The vehicle started with a little over 40k miles. I've quickly added on to this number. I love driving the car. It has what I like to call "zip power" to it.

Congratulations! You can bring the car to the service department and tell them about the leather cracking, it is still covered under warranty and they will replace it.
