I recently purchased my 2010 as a buyout of the lease of my boss' executive vehicle.
Do I need to do anything to transfer the warranty to my name?
The car has 30k miles.

 

No , the warranty goes with the car not the owner.

 

MEP said it right. The warranty will continue from the in service date. And don't forget to register on the Lexus owners' website.

I just researched this and answer I got was the following: the original manufacturers warranty is with the car so any owners can use the warranty. They will just look it up at the Lexus dealership based on your VIN number. If you buy any of the extended warranty however, it is only transferable one time for a $50 fee.

It's a red one and I'm a guy so I've avoided posting pics ;-)

 

The matador red is a nice color.
My buddy who served 3 tours already has one, and guess what he's not concerned with the color at all.
OR maybe it's the Semper Fi sticker at the back
