Default Conditioning Perforated Leather Seats

My 2012 Black RX has Light gray leather interior with perforated leather on the center sections of the seats.

What can I use to keep any leather conditioning cream out of the perforated area's on the seats??

Cheers!

I've just been using this: Weiman Wipes. Convenient and doesn't leave a residue at all.

Meguairs leather cleaner is my product of choice. I put some on a towel first and then rub it into the towel to make it moist. I then use the towel to clean the leather and it works for me. Takes all of those blue stains from jeans away!

Spray Lexol on a microfiber and wipe. Haven't had any blue jean experiences on my light gray, though.

Thanks.

I use this product in the cream form.
Maybe I been using to much and the cream is clogging the perforated holes.

A little goes a long way if it's a good quality product.

I use the cream as well. I have not clogged any of the holes with the above method.

I've tried a variety of products on the perforated seats without issue. I spritz whatever I'm using at the moment on a microfiber cloth and wipe away. You might want to follow up with a second microfiber cloth, slightly dampened, to soak up any excess. Less is more like MX5NES350 said. I also make sure it's warm out or the cabin is warm (fire up the seats) so it'll dry.

Now I do get an ocassional piece of dirt in the holes of the perforated seats. I use a toothpick to gently remove it.

Was/are there leather seats by Lexus that weren't perforated?

I thought I seen pictures without the perforating.

The seats weren't perforated on the previous gen RXs.

there were with the latest RX 400h black edition but not ventilated!

Meguiars is one of the best products for cleaning leather perforated or not.

My 2001 RX Silversport Edition (and I believe Coach editions of that era) has perforated leather seats. Holding up pretty well after 10-1/2 years - one split on the driver's seat bolster I've been meaning to fix.

I use Lexol spray conditioner once or twice a year. Spray on the application cloth first then apply.

I did not know. Silversports were pretty rare. I've only seen the Coach edition at the NY Auto Show years ago. I couldn't see the seats. It was that special dark gray color with the tan interior. Very nice.

It's good to know your perforated seats held up well. Thanks.
