Re-visiting Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion
Hi - as I mentioned we're new....first Lexus and newbie to this forum.
It's been a great resource so far. We purchased a pre-owned 2010 RX350 (only 3600 miles) which is a USA vehicle, but bought it in Canada.
I would like to switch the temperatiure readings to Celsius, however past threads suggest the only two ways to make this happen are the Lexus dealership reprogramming ( read expensive) or changing the battery.
Any thoughts on if I simply disconnect the battery for a few hours and then reconnect, if that will re-set it to Celsius versus Farenhiet?

I dont think that would work. It will just default to factory original which in your case would be F as its an American car. It can be changed by the dealer with the computer then I am sure. Wait until you have somthing that needs work and get them to do it then. They may not charge you if they are doing other stuff.
