Oil changes
You can take it to any reputable service centre you want. I do not have either a Lexus or Toyota dealer anywhere near me. I get a good quality synthetic oil put in and keep receipts. Some members change their own oil. I have read comments that Lexus charges about $130 and Toyota will do it for about $80. Quite a price to pay for monogrammed shirt cuffs and fancy coffee but whatever gets you going.....

With my 2004 RX I went to Walmart and got synthetic for about $54. I know the guys there really well and they've always taken good care of me. Don't know if I can still go there with my 2012 and not void my warranty, any thoughts on that folks?
As long as you use engine oil that meets Toyota's oil standard and oil filter cartridge that is equal to or equivalent to the Toyota oil filter cartridge, your warranty will be intact, just keep good maintenance record. If Walmart need to top off fluid such as coolant or brake fluid, make sure they use fluids that meets Toyota's strict standards.
Personally, I think Walmart is a tad better than Jiffy Lube, I would not bring my $50K SUV to either one of those places for service. Some of those guys are not even familar with cartridge type oil filter. You can ask for just an oil change at the dealer and save a few bucks or go to a Toyota dealer. Those guys work on Lexus and Toyota all day, they are very familiar with the car.
