Default Another new one... updated with 3M clear bra close-ups

I guess I need a new username. Picked up a 2012 Stargazer w/ light gray interior. Came with the Comfort Package, 12 speaker audio, Navigation w/ voice command, Parking Assist, Wood/Leather trimmed steering wheel/shift ****, cross bars, remote engine start, all weather mats, cargo mat/net and wheel locks. I had Rock Guard (clear bra) put on the hood, full bumper and mirrors. Suprisingly the line isn't very noticeable at all. Lots of gadgets compared to my old trustworthy base ES350.

I just Scotch Guarded the all carpeted surfaces since I am paranoid about cleanliness.

Yeah, it's clean... for now. I have the black '93 LE Miata in front of the RX then I have the below parked in a separate spot. I think I may invest in Meguiar's stock.

Yep, with three nice rides like that you'll definitely need a user name. You can come up with your own or we can get creative for you . Might be safer if you do your own tho

Welcome to CL

MX, unless you have skis for that last pic you'll be done with that for the year soon. I see some of the S**W on the ground in some of your pics. Already........sigh

P.S. - Georgeous RX. Congrats!

Thanks. The bike is going in storage next week. Shame the yer we had. I bought it in May and have about 200 miles on it due to all the rain we got in our area (65 inches compared to the normal 32) We just got hit with 9 inches in the Lehigh Valley and that's at least melting a bit now.

Beautiful color, mine will be the same but with black leather interior. I still am having trouble understanding the Lexus process of how vehicles are put together. It seems to make no sense.

I ordered the same color and it comes with body side mouldings. They are standard with two of the Black colors but not on the other colors. It is not tied to the package of upgrades you select as it is standard with the basic package so what makes black so special here in Canada?

MX, can you do me a favor and post up some pictures of the clear bra on the hood and on the bumper from up close. I would like to get a feel for how noticable it is. Thank you very much.

Body mouldings is not included with any package (at least in the US) and is an add on accessory with all color choices

Yep, I will take some after the frost goes away. A few folks have seen the RX in varying light conditions and said "There's a bra on that?" Then when I had them lean in to about 12 inches off the hood and pointed to the line they were able to see it but were still amazed at how hidden it is. Now having said that you can see it more on my wife's silver C70. If it were clean I would take a few shots of that but it's dirty as heck right now and wouldn't be a fair comparison to a clean black.
