Looking for an 2010 RX350 for the wife.
What's a good price to pay for one that has 20k with Premium package and
Nav?
I found one for $38,500 that looked almost new, just came off an lease.

Maybe 38.5 K is a good price. Is it CPO ?
In my area, there is just ONE 2010 RX350. CPO. 18 K miles. No NAV.
Asking price: $42550. The price seems to reflect the low availability of 2010 RX350.
At $42.5K, I would skip the 2010 model for now.
If I need a RX350 right now, there are eight 2009 RX350. No NAV. Ranging from $34550 to $34400.
I would give these 2009 models a serious look.

Wow! Prices are high in Texas. Our RX is about three months old. No Nav, but with Premium package, Heated & Ventilated Seats, Back Up Camera, Parking Assist, Leather & Wood Trim, and the Accessory Package. We did not pay $42,250 for it NEW.

I showed the dealer's asking price, so there's room for negotiation.
I bought my 2009 RX350 with 14500 miles.
My car was the only one on the lot with that color so it was seller's market.
Yet, I paid $4000 less than asking price.

Why all of you said 38.5K is a good price for used 2010 at 20K miles. That's the price dealer asked, you can take it down at least 3K-4K less than what they asked. Ok, that's in MA. Maybe other places have diff values.

there is no incentive right now, but things should start to pickup after labor day weekend..
wait a couple month then you should have no problem get a new 2011 rx350 w/ premium & navi for about $38-$39k before ttl...

Wow, there are some great prices in CA. They are definitly higher here in CO. We are lucky to get a loaded, Nav, AWD, Luxury pkg, the works for 46K new. Used 2010 with low miles are selling in the low 40k range. Good luck.

I got my 2010 RX350 AWD last october for 41k before TTL..msrp was about 49k..
Mine has premium, comfort, navi, 19" wheel, backup camera, parking assist, tow prep, perferred accessories & cross bar..
There was still plenty of color combo to choose from and I got my no.1 choice of tungsten pearl w/ grey black interior..

Let's all say in unison, "All prices are local". You just can't compare CA prices where there are a ton of dealers to most places where one or two dealers are the norm. For instance, San Antonio TX has ONE dealer for 2.2 million people, 80 miles up the road is Austin with ONE dealer for 1.8 million. So two dealers for 4 million people. Next dealers are over 200 miles away in Houston and Dallas. You think dealers are going to give their cars away (new or used)? You do the best you can but they won't blow them out the door at CA type prices where buyers can cross shop between many dealers. You can't change the supply and demand equation.

I wouldn't bank on your use of San Antonio and Austin to make your argument. I purchased my RX in SA for about the same price as everywehre else. I used truecar.com as a reference and found that I paid about the same as anyone in CA, FL, etc. would if they negotiated the same.Originally Posted by Evitzee

The dealer will sell the car for what the consumer is willing to pay. The fact that there is no other dealer in the area might make a slight difference but not enough if the consumer is willing to take their money elsewhere.

I got 2010 RX 350 AWD from NY Lexus dealer for $34,000 premium package, comfort, backup camer, no NAV, tow prep, no HID, 34K miles. CPO added 1000$ if i wanted . But since i import to Canada, CPO warranty wont work so i bought without CPO warranty.
